A pattern index is rolled when the item is created. Doppler phases, Fade percent and Case Hardened Blue Gems are not separate catalog SKUs — the cheap listing is usually the ugly roll.
CS2 Doppler Phases
Doppler knife finishes are four common phases plus Ruby, Sapphire and Black Pearl. Phase prices diverge hard — this page maps which is which.
CS2 Fade Percent
Fade knives and weapons are priced by how much purple/pink covers the blade or gun. 80% and 100% are different SKUs in practice.
Case Hardened Blue Gem
Case Hardened pattern indexes that show large blue on the playside are called Blue Gems. Tier 1 AK Blue Gems are among the most expensive rifles in CS2.
Crimson Web
Crimson Web knives are judged by how many intact webs sit on the playside. Clean FN webs cost a different number than a scraped FT.
Lore Knives
Lore is a high-tier knife finish (Howl-adjacent art). Wear eats the gold/orange; FN and low-float MW are the listings people screenshot.
Gamma Doppler
Gamma Doppler is the green-family cousin of Doppler. Emerald is the gem; phases are the common rolls.
